COVID-19 CLOSURE INFORMATION

AS PART OF THE HARBOR DISTRICT’S EFFORTS TO MITIGATE THE SPREAD OF COVID-19, THE FOLLOWING ARE CLOSED AND THESE CLOSURES WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

  • AVILA PIER

  • SWINGS AND SLIDE ON AVILA BEACH

  • FIRE PITS ON OLDE PORT BEACH

  • FISH CLEANING STATION ON HARFORD PIER

SPORT LAUNCH: MUST WEAR MASK OUTSIDE OF VEHICLE


PERMITTED USE AT ALL BEACHES (AVILA, OLDE PORT BEACH, FISHERMAN’S BEACH):

  • ACCESSIBILITY TO AVILA BEACH, OLDE PORT BEACH, AND FISHERMAN’S BEACH WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR LIMITED EXERCISE AND RECREATION.  

  • DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES WILL BE ENFORCED.

  • PLEASE REMEMBER TO FOLLOW THE GOVERNOR’S "STAY-AT-HOME" ORDER WHEN CONSIDERING RECREATING AT OUR BEACHES.

  • BBQ’S/FIREPITS

HELP US KEEP OUR BEACHES OPEN BY FOLLOWING THE GOVERNOR’S "STAY-AT-HOME" ORDERS.

*THE DISTRICT WILL USE ITS DISCRETION TO MAKE ADDITIONAL MODIFICATIONS AS NECESSARY OR AS DIRECTED BY STATE EXECUTIVE ORDER*


ADDITIONAL CHANGES:

WATER TAXI SERVICE IS LIMITED TO TWO PATRONS PER RUN, AND ESSENTIAL TRIPS ONLY.

RV CAMPING REMAINS OPEN ONLY FOR THOSE WITH CURRENT RESERVATIONS.  NO NEW RESERVATIONS ARE BEING TAKEN.

FAT CAT’S CAFE AND MERSEA’S RESTAURANT ARE OPEN FOR WITH LIMITED OUTDOOR SEATING AND TAKE-OUT ORDERS.
