Harbor District Talks Possible Uses for Diablo Canyon Lands

On Saturday, September 15, 2018, the Harbor District participated in one of 4 recent public workshops hosted by the Diablo Canyon Decommissioning Engagement Panel [DCDEP] to gather public input on potential future uses of Diablo Canyon lands and facilities. The DCDEP was created to foster open and transparent dialogue between members of the local community and PG&E on matters related to the upcoming Diablo Canyon Power Plant decommissioning in 2025.

On behalf of the Harbor Commission, Harbor Manager Andrea Lueker attended the September 15 workshop and presented identified Diablo Canyon/PG&E assets of interest for possible use by Port San Luis Harbor District.  A copy of that presentation is available for review here: 9.15.18 DCDEP Workshop Presentation
