COVID19-Camping Information
Beginning June 15, 2021, all sectors listed in the California Blueprint may return to usual operations (other than Mega Events).
Currently, the Port San Luis Campground is open.
- Reservations are currently accepted as follows:
- Coastal Gateway Campsites are open.
- Nobi Point Campsites are open.
- Woodyard Campsites are open.
- Trailer Boat Campsites are open.

Thank you for your interest in camping at Port San Luis Harbor. To meet the requirements as provided by the California Department of Public Health, the information below is provided to help all of our visitors have a safe experience while visiting the Port and Avila Beach.
If you have made a reservation, please review the following information:
If you or someone in your household is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, please cancel your reservation. Please email your cancellation to campingrefunds@portsanluis.com.
- Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea

Please see the following guidelines, as provided by the State of California, for a more enjoyable stay here at Port San Luis.
- Wear a mask if you are unvaccinated, especially in crowded, indoor spaces.
- Wash your hands and sanitize surfaces.
- Follow safety rules for mega-events.
- Wear a mask while on public transit, even if you are vaccinated.
- Honor mask and distancing rules in place at a private business.
- Wear a mask when you travel.

REFUND POLICY
- All Cancellations and/or Modifications will incur a $15 fee per transaction
- The cancellation policy will be adhered to, so please make your reservation with the understanding you will be charged the cancellation/modification fee for all cancellations/modifications, even if COVID19 related.
- The Reservation Fee will remain non-refundable in the event of additional mandatory closures due to COVID-19 or any other additional closures that may occur.
- All Fees will be charged, even if the cancellation/modification is related to COVID-19. This includes any and all cancellations associated with Federal/State/Local Stay-At-Home Orders/Industry closures or cancellation of travel due to having COVID-19, having symptoms of COVID-19, or quarantining due to COVID-19.
- 72 HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION START DATE: 100%, minus $10 reservation fee and $15 Cancellation/Modification fee
- 48 HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION START DATE: 50%, minus $10 reservation fee and $15 Cancellation/Modification fee
- LESS THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION START DATE: no refunds
- Only two (2) reservation cancellations and/or modifications are allowed calendar year.
- Campers required to leave due to the violation of the Port San Luis Harbor District Camping Rules & Regulations, District Ordinances, and any other applicable County, State, or Federal law are not eligible for a refund.
RESERVATION CHANGES AND/OR MODIFICATIONS
- To make modifications to your reservation, first re-book your new reservation dates, as applicable, using the reservation website.
- Then email your cancellation request to: campingrefunds@portsanluis.com to cancel any unwanted dates.
